RH Irving Co Inc was formed by Bob Irving in 1972.  We have been turning dreams into reality for countless clients since out founding.  Our commitment to good communication and quality building has enabled our clients to enjoy successful and positive building experiences.  We look forward to offering our services to you.
 
Bob Irving started repairing two hundred year old houses and barns in the foothills of the White Mountains.   A few years later the owner of an local historic home lost a portion of the house to fire and asked Bob to rebuild it with antique, hand hewn beams.  That led to many years of building new timber frames throughout New England.  The challenge of enclosing those frames led from stud walls to "wrap and strap" using sheets of urethane insulation, to utilizing Stress Skin panels in the late 70's.  Those high performance homes used some of the first high efficiency heating equipment in the state. Most of the homes utilized passive solar orientation and many had sunrooms or active solar heat systems.
 
Over the years Bob has been voted Builder of the Year by the local chapter of the NAHBR and received numerous building awards for his new homes and renovations.
